HARVEYS TO HOST CROOM CALL-IN SHOW
Starkville, MS -- July 21, 2004
Harveys restaurant in Starkville has been selected to host "Dogs Talk", the weekly radio call-in show featuring Mississippi State head football coach, Sylvester Croom. The show will be broadcast live from Harveys' Bulldog Boardroom each Monday night at 7pm during the 2004 football season.
"Coach Croom's first season at MSU has generated a lot of anticipation for fans this year, and we are very excited to work with the Athletic department in hosting the show," said John Bean, president of Harveys.
"Dogs Talk" will feature commentary by Coach Croom and MSU sportscasting legend, Jack Cristil, as well as live questions and comments from the listening audience. It is carried on over 20 affiliate radio stations throughout Mississippi.
"The show will be broadcast from our 'Bulldog Boardroom', an MSU-themed banquet room we set up a few years ago," said Allen Fillingame, Harveys General Manager. "It's a great environment for MSU fans. We also broadcast it over our house speakers so over-flow fans can easily hear what's going on."
The first "Dogs Talk" broadcast is slated for Monday, August 30 at 7pm when Coach Croom will discuss the upcoming season and MSU's home-opener against Tulane University.
