Ruben Sandwich
Ingredients
• 2 slices rye bread
• 2 tsp Melted margarine
• 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
• 1 tbsp 1000 island dressing
• 2 slices Swiss cheese
• 4 oz sliced corn beef (paper thin)
• ¼ cup sauerkraut
• 2 pickles
Procedure
1. Butter the rye bread on one side each, and place in a skillet set on medium heat to toast.
2. Remove bread from heat. Spread 1000 island dressing on one piece, and the mustard on the other piece.
3. Place on piece of Swiss on each side of bread, and place in oven to melt the cheese.
4. While cheese is melting, place corn beef and sauerkraut in skillet and toss to warm.
5. Transfer to bread, and fold sandwich together.
6. Place pickles on top, cut in half, and enjoy.
