Service Makes The Meal A Pleasure

Some people like the prime rib, others love the pasta. But it is the outstanding service that really sets Harvey' s apart from the pack. General Manager Terry Long said Harvey's of Starkville has a great team with the goal of taking care of every customer. From the dishwasher to the hostess, everyone wants the customer to have a great time and enjoy the dining experience. We want to make our guests happy, Long said. We are very serious about quality and we want our guests to have a quality experience every time they join us for a meal.
The top meal is the prime rib, hands down, according to Harvey's management. Delta Chicken and Fettuccine Romano are close seconds, but the Prime Rib is the house specialty. One of the reasons the Prime Rib is so delicious has to do with the grill. Harvey's grills their Prime Rib (and all of their grilled items) over a Mesquite wood-burning grill for incredible flavor. You will not find a gas grill at Harvey's. They make all of their sauces, dressings and appetizers from scratch. And, all seafood dishes are flown in fresh daily.
The food is great, but it is the service that makes Harvey's one of Starkville's best restaurants. Staff go through extensive training and nine tests before they are allowed out on the floor. Management is very hands-on every day, but for weekends, at least five managers are in-house every night. Managers work hard to speak with every table, in the hope of making the most of the dining experience for every customer.
If you are craving Harvey's prime rib and can't get away, they have Curbside-To-Go to bring a little bit of Harvey's home. When you are hosting a big crowd, Harvey's can help out with a banquet room that can accommodate 20-60 people, ideal for wedding receptions, and office parties.
